Carol Blair

President, Chester Square Neighbors

Carol grew up in a small city in Vermont, walking most everywhere, but she could also ride her bicycle to the nearest farm or forest. Always fascinated with the many ways we move from place to place, she made her career here in Boston’s transportation, working in government, the private sector and non-profits. Now retired, and a grandmother, she fills her days with family and community.

Carol finds joy in connecting people, places and ideas! She finds neighborhood work to be a holistic endeavor, with no limits on our collective aspirations. She hopes for the day when pedestrians and cyclists will travel our streets safely, buses will move freely, motor vehicles will be used efficiently - and we will casually connect with others among trees lining these shared spaces.
